SPECIALCISE
"Sometimes real superheroes live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles."
Our society is constantly evolving, but we often overlook one major part- children with special needs.
Thus, to help create awareness, we organized
SPECIALCISE, an exciting fitness program for children with special needs.
Fitness Program for children with special needs.
The program was conducted by a team of young and talented trainers, who successfully guided the children and ensured that everyone present had a good time.
Changing the concept of "| will play" to "We will play," all of us formed a strong bond, which will remain in our hearts forever!
We are truly grateful to all the children, their parents, and the trainers who helped in making this event a huge success.
Menstrual Health Camp
Another proud achievement!
We, at Petals Charitable Trust, celebrated World Menstrual
Hygiene day by creating awareness among girls and
women about good Menstrual Hygiene.
By destigmatizing the many taboos related to menstruation
and explaining how to maintain menstrual hygiene, we
successfully accomplished our goal to create awareness
and empower all those present.
We partnered up with gynecologist, Dr. Sulbha Arora and educated all the young boys and girls present about this natural process.
Youth Is The Future Of Tomorrow
Petals Charitable Trust successfully raised Rs. 25,000 to sponsor the accommodation, travel, and food for 25 underprivileged boys and girls participating in Maharashtra Junior State Boxing Championship at Sangli. We are glad about the outcome, as both teams won first runner-up trophies.
Towards A Brighter Future.
Since our launch, Petals Charitable Trust has been working hard to promote our causes. While there is always more that can be done to help those in need in our community, there’s no doubt that we are making a significant impact. We are proud to announce that we provided free essential supplies and medical kits to the amazing team MUBA women participating in the Elite State Level Boxing Championship held in September 2021.
Petals Charitable Trust organized an awareness programme on the importance of menstrual hygiene and distributed sanitary pads to all girls who participated in the state level junior girl's boxing championship held in Mumbai on 9th October 2022. Over 120 girls participated in this drive from all across Maharashtra.
We thank MUBA for the opportunity and support extended in making the event a success.
Another Milestone Achieved
Petals Charitable Trust successfully provided sports shoes to aspiring young boxers to help them train and perform better.
How We Help
Paving the Way for a Better Tomorrow
Petals Charitable Trust works to provide education and a nutritious diet to underprivileged children. Many talented children in sports cannot realise their full potential and fulfil their dreams due to the lack of funds and support. Our main goal is to support such children and help them in every way possible to achieve the success and recognition that they deserve.
Health Check-Up Camp
Recently we conducted a free health check-up drive on 29th August, 2021 in Thakur College, Mumbai to provide children with free blood tests as well as a booster shot of vitamin D.
A total of 75 children had been present there who benefitted from the same.
The drive was carried out smoothly and will be the first of many more!
Exceeding Expectations
One of our main goals is to ensure that every child gets basic education, livelihood and healthcare. Women are the future and their amazing performance in various sports is a great example of the sheer potential they possess. We want to provide a platform for all the upcoming athletes of this country to achieve their dreams without worrying about the financial aspect.
Fighting Prejudices
India is a country with tremendous upcoming talent, but a lot of it is going unrecognized. A lot of talented sportswomen are barred from playing sports just because of their gender. But these girls would not give up without a fight. Breaking all the barriers, they have accomplished great feats and continue to do so. Help us in supporting these young women in chasing their dreams and goals.
Part of happy moments
For the past two years, we have been helping underprivileged children get the proper education and nutritional diet they need. Recently, we had an amazing opportunity for helping a blind orphan by sponsoring her marriage. There are many extremely talented children living in under developed areas of Mumbai. These children have a bright future in boxing and many other sports, but this shouldn’t be hindered by their financial background. They are district and state level champions and have so much raw potential. To have a proper chance to compete and achieve everything they deserve, they need to have a proper nutritious diet and supplements. A small step now can help improve and empower the future generation of our country.

HOW IT ALL STARTED
A few years ago, I started going to my daughter's boxing matches. And during these very matches, I came across a lot of bright, young children who had a lot of potential that would eventually bring our country all the joy and pride possible. But due to their financial circumstances, it became a hindrance in their path to achieving great success. Seeing this stirred a lot of emotions and made me realise that I was capable of using my privilege to help them accomplish their goals. For a few years, I did this alone and tried to help as many children as I could. But this wasn't enough for all these young upcoming stars to realise their true potential and not be hindered by problems in their lives. Hence, I started this trust.
